November 17, 2013- This sunday, we had the opportunity to sing at the Jewish Family and Children’s Service in Waltham, just a few minutes away from Brandeis! The event that we performed at was a pre-Channukah party where many people came to eat “latkes” and socialize. When we arrived, each of us first introduced ourselves with our names, years, and hometowns. Then, we performed 6 songs- Taggid She’atah Ohev, Mei Nahar, Machmaot, Eretz Yisrael, Veich Shelo, and Too Close. Taggid She’atah Ohev and Eretz Yisrael were both debuted at this performance. It was so exciting to perform them in front of an audience for the first time, and they were received very well! After we sang, we had the chance to sit down with some of the people there and chat with them. Overall, it was a great experience. We had lots of fun performing, and it seemed like the audience really enjoyed it too!
